fund-raising

How it is Conducted

The Feasibility Study is an objective survey of the institution's fundraising potential that measures the strength of your case for a campaign and the availability of prospective donors, campaign leaders and volunteer workers.

The Feasibility Study

The key technique that we use is a confidential one-on-one interview with a sample of members from the following suggested groups:

  • Leaders who have played a key role in the synagogue's growth.
  • Members who have the potential to make major gifts to the campaign.
  • Members representing various constituencies of the synagogue.
  •  Additional key individuals.

This will ensure a comprehensive sampling group.

In addition to the interviews, an internal analysis of past fund-raising experiences and history is crucial to rendering a professional judgment.

  •  An assessment of the strength of the synagogues' case for funding, availability of leadership, major donors and depth of interest of the community.
  •  Recommendations for an achievable dollar goal and timing for your campaign.

  •  A campaign plan of action including: marketing ideas; a proposed leadership structure, campaign solicitation strategy and time-table.

...through competent and objective analysis, and before embarking upon your campaign, you will gain essential information to help ensure your success, thereby identifying key issues that will affect the campaign.
